Chris Ganje

Chris is the driving force behind AMPLYFI's vision, strategy and growth. He led AMPLYFI's rise from initial concept through to a leader in European digital innovation.

Chris is the driving force behind AMPLYFI's vision, strategy and growth. He led AMPLYFI's rise from initial concept through to a leader in European digital innovation. Prior to launching AMPLYFI, Chris worked for BP plc where he held a variety of roles spanning technology, strategy, operations and finance; most recently responsible for leading the Group's disruptive technology work. Before joining BP, Chris led a start-up focused on developing wind power projects in Bangalore, India. Chris is a fellow at Cambridge University's Centre for Science and Policy, holds an MSc in Politics from Edinburgh University and a BA in History from the State University of New York, New Paltz College.
Chief Product Officer

Daniel James

Daniel is responsible for the products built for our customers, ensuring we deliver successful and innovative solutions that meet our customer needs globally.

Daniel is responsible for the products built for our customers, ensuring we deliver successful and innovative solutions that meet our customer needs globally. He has been part of the AMPLYFI team since 2016 during which time he has held various roles across our engineering and business teams. Prior to joining AMPLYFI, Daniel led the deployment of numerous data products at University College, London. Daniel holds degrees in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from UCL and Cardiff University, previously specialising in the use of machine learning models to predict protein structures.

Abe Lederman

Abe is responsible for ensuring that the best content, whether structured or unstructured, freely available or commercially licensed is incorporated into the AMPLYFI product suite.

Abe is responsible for ensuring that the best content, whether structured or unstructured, freely available or commercially licensed is incorporated into the AMPLYFI product suite. Abe has 40 years of experience in computer software engineering, the last 30 years focused exclusively on developing leading-edge information retrieval products and solutions. Abe began his career at Hewlett Packard and in 1987 became a founding member of Verity, a startup in text retrieval and one of the first companies to go public in the Dot Com era.

In 2002, Abe founded Deep Web Technologies which became the leading developer of federated search technology used to provide one-stop access to the vast amount of content available on the Internet. In 2020, Deep Web Technologies was acquired by AMPLYFI and Abe and his team joined AMPLYFI. Abe holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ian Jones

With 25 years' experience in natural resource technologies spanning industry and government, Ian is responsible for formulating AMPLYFI’s long term vision and strategy.

With 25 years' experience in natural resource technologies spanning industry and government, Ian is responsible for formulating AMPLYFI’s long term vision and strategy. Prior to founding AMPLYFI, he worked at BP plc where he developed the Group’s global technology and commercialisation strategies as well as BP’s Global Resource Base assessment, one of the most comprehensive views of the world’s primary energy resource base. He has held a number of analytical, commercial and leadership roles across BP and is a regular guest lecturer at Oxford, Cambridge and Tsinghua universities.
Acting Chief Financial Officer

Susan Morrissey

Susan manages AMPLYFI’s financial management, corporate/legal governance and risk management.

Susan manages AMPLYFI’s financial management, corporate/legal governance and risk management. Before joining AMPLYFI, Susan gained extensive experience in corporate banking and risk management, built over 13 years at BNP Paribas and Mitsubishi. She created and led BNP Paribas New York’s commodity finance Credit Execution Team, and structured credit facilities from $1m to over $1bn for start-ups and large multinationals. At Mitsubishi Susan was Credit Manager for Europe, responsible for managing all aspects of credit risk. Susan holds a Bachelor's in International Commerce and French from University College Dublin and a Master's in Eastern Philosophies from SOAS, University of London.

Rony Seamons

Rony oversees all people activities at AMPLYFI, with a particular focus and passion for every facet of business performance and the AMPLYFI culture.

Rony oversees all people activities at AMPLYFI, with a particular focus and passion for every facet of business performance and the AMPLYFI culture. A Chemistry graduate from Cardiff University, Rony spent 15 years leading large teams in various senior leadership roles, honing his skills in shaping organisational structure, enhancing productivity and people development. He spent 3 years leading the Welsh NatWest Accelerator, where he worked with over 400 start-ups and supported the bank's internal Entrepreneurship Development Academy. Having followed AMPLYFI's progress closely, Rony joined as Director of Operations in December 2018 and has since become our Chief People Officer.

Dr. Liam Betsworth

Liam leads the engineering team at AMPLYFI, executing on tomorrow's innovations. He is responsible for delivering robust, secure and scalable technology that surpasses user's expectations.

Liam leads the engineering team at AMPLYFI, executing on tomorrow's innovations. He is responsible for delivering robust, secure and scalable technology that surpasses user's expectations. Liam brings a broad range of experience to the engineering team, including software development, user research and interaction design. Before joining AMPLYFI, Liam was a Senior User Experience Designer and Engineer at Gofore, an international service production company. In completing his Human-computer Interaction PhD at Swansea University, Liam worked alongside IBM and the BBC in conducting research, design and development of novel interactive technologies; appearing at international conferences and published in journals. Liam holds a BSc in Computer Science with 1st class honours.
